I bought this as an OS drive for a friend who didn't feel they had a need for an SSD and liked the idea of the large size at a great price point. Windows installed quickly and flawlessly on the drive. Great buy!!

Good value for this drive. Performance is acceptable in a system with other SSD media for more intensive IO. As long as it proves to be reliable over time, I don't see how you could go wrong with buying this.

Purchased this HD to replace an old WD 300GB hard drive that finally died after 12 yrs in my old iMac PC. Hopefully this drive will last as long the original one.

Bought this to replace a mechanically failing drive that was throwing errors. Replaced, then transferred all data over to new drive...works flawlessly. Hopefully this one will last 10yrs like my last WD HD

I knew nothing about hard drives but needed one to put into a security system NVR. I have had no issues with it and it easily plays back my security camera recordings. Sales associate recommended this one.

staff was knowledgeable we didn't actually need to purchase this there was an issue with Norton and everything runs great now computers 10 years old works perfect

Great HDD. Low cost and it is a physical drive. SSD will fail over time. These do not. Not as fast as an SSD, but won't fail as quickly.

I bought this hard drive to be the primary drive in a machine I wanted to put windows 10 on. Plugged it in and everything worked just like it should. I have Windows 10 running great!! Would recommend this hard drive.

Great hard drive. It’s working wonderfully so far on my server/streaming pc. WD in my opinion is far better then Seagate... have had too many faulty drives from Seagate in the past.

Decent replacement HDD for my 9-year-old desktop at a very good price. Took about an hour to swap out the drive and restore my Windows 7 operating system.

I always rely upon western digital hard drives. I have had more than dozen hard drives fail in my lifetime and they are usually NOT western digital. They are usually another brand. Rely on a brand you can trust and stick with it.

This is my third internal WD drive and I also have three external NAS connected to my network.Exactly what I needed for my computer. Using it as a separate volume to store some critical data.

Quite drive for the speed and a large amount of additional storage.

So far so good. Basic drive that operates efficiently and quietly.

Installed without a glitch and have been running PC nonstop for days at a time for SETI. No overheating and no disk errors. Can't ask for more from a hard drive.

Just needed a new HD to replace the old one in my mom's computer, didn't need anything fancy/expensive. This one does the job, and should last as long as any other. Worth the price for sure.

Service was helpful when looking for a drive to replace the one that had stopped working. Was told that this was the best and a good price for the amount of drive space Love my gueek squad.

From a great brand that always has great products and always reliable. I've only had this for a week but I've bought multiple hard drives from this brand for all my builds and probably always will.

My Mom’s computer was running slower and slower until it finally just quit. Geek Squad ran a diagnostic on it and showed a failed hard drive. They installed a new one and it’s working great!
