This hard drive is pretty much a standard drive for storing files like documents and pictures, but if you are into gaming or storing videos that are 4k or higher quality, trust me and go with a SSD (solid slate drive).

Replaced hard drive in a Dell All in One. Drive fit perfectly and performs as well, if not better than original. Been using the drive for over 1 year now and not a single issue.

Western digital is the best for traditional hard drives. Purchased to replace a failed Seagate drive for the mothers computer.

This being my first time ever buying a new hard drive I did not know what to expect upon installing it. I had no issues or difficulties installing or using this hard drive.

Bought as a replacement for my HP's Seagate hard drive (I seem to have bad luck with Seagate.) Installed easy, spins up nicely and looks, ah well, doesn't really matter does it?

I have always had a good experience with Western Digital products, and this 1TB hard drive is the latest. Easy to install, well made, very competitive price, only $5 more than the 750GB model.

Had a client who's drive crashed on them and needed a quick replacement. Can't beat a TB drive from any other major name for this price. Worked like a charm, client was happy, everyone's happy.

Got this for my gaming PC fit right in and easy to use

After losing a hard drive I made this purchase at Best Buy. The price was just right and the size was compatible with my desktop system. I has been flawless and very quiet.

my original Hard drive on my PC failed and this was the replacement. Has been a great functioning Hard drive for all my person needs.

I haven't owned this drive all that long, not even a month yet so it's a little early to tell about the longevity of the drive. I bought this drive to replace a failing boot drive in an older computer. I had no issues at all cloning the old drive to this new one. This WD Drive is quite responsive in the old computer (bought it in 2005), it could be my imagination but it does seem as if programs open quicker now. I own several internal and external Western Digital drives, some as old as 10-12 years old and they are still operational. If the older drives provide any indication of the life of this new drive, I'm sure I will be pleased as always with WD products.

I wish I had picked up a couple more, because I went back a week or two later to buy another, and they were sold out. I went to a competitor, and had to pay ten dollars more.
