Purchased and worked (they was emergency replacements for a workstation). They worked. I put them in as a set of mirrored drives. I find WD drives to be more reliable and fail less often than some other brands(I won't mention any other brands, like ones that start with the letter 'S').

As all hard drives fail eventually, we purchased this hard drive as a replacement for an office desktop. The price was right. It's perfect for the office needs. Thinking to purchase another for personal backups at home. Great product for a great price.

I purchased this as a replacement for my iMac that the hard drive died in. After about 45 minutes of work was back in business. Mac is a bit faster now with 3x the space of the original. Works great and I am very happy with it. Less than $50 and the iMac is like new again.

This internal drive was bought to supplement the modest 250GB drive on an older computer. Since I had an empty bay, it was easy to install the drive and simple to get formatted and running. It is fast and quiet and so far, it has performed flawlessly.

I haven't needed to buy a drive in probably close to 10 years, after installing this one to replace a failed drive, I'm extremely happy with the speeds and reliability of the drive thus far. Probably gonna buy some more to replace my slowly dying drives once I get some more funds.

i am in the process of building a new desktop PC. I weighed the difference between an SSD and a HD 7200 RPM, 64 GB cashe. SSD had 500 GB and HD had 1000 GB. SSD cost $300 to $400 and the HD cost $49 with discount. This HD is fast and has twice the storage, so I chose the HD. No regrets.

easy setup, reasonable price. I bought this hard drive for my 16 year old son who wanted to assemble his own desktop computer. We searched around and found this hard drive to be the best for its price. My son has assembled his computer now and he is very happy with what we had bought.

I got this to add to my tower and use as my startup drive. I was running out of room on my system drive. So I cloned my started drive to this bigger one and it's been smooth sailing so far. I've always had good results with the WD drives, and this one seems to be keeping up that tradition.

It was easy to swap out with the OEM Seagate initially installed in my HP Pavilion. It just happened to die a few days after one-year warranty expired so I went with WD which never disappoints! So far, so good. Runs better than Seagate did and no issues to report.

I needed a backup drive, so I placed this drive in an external cage containing a USB connector. It was simple to format the drive with one partition. I then used the 'create image' program in W10, and made image back ups of my drives. All went well.

This drive met and exceeded my expectations and needs. It did not need any configuration prior to initial use and only had to be plugged in to find the plug & play capability. Its sturdy housing makes me believe it could withstand at least some bouncing and bumping.

I needed a new hard drive because the factory installed drive in my desktop computer was filled up. Installation was a breeze and using the WD copy software made trasfering my files a breeze. My new drive works great and would buy another one if I ever needed to buy one.
