    My Lenovo desktop computer is barely a year and a half old and the garbage hard drive that was in it failed. (Will NEVER buy Lenovo again!) But this hard drive seems to be good (so far) and was not too terribly expensive.

    I've used many hard drives in my life and I've never had a Western Digital drive fail on me. When I have the option its the only brand I use.

    Western Digital is becoming my choice of hard drives to recommend. I have replaced too many Seagates this year that were only 3 and 4 years old. Unless you go solid state these work very well and I have not had to replace any of them.
