I purchased this drive to rebuild an older machine and the first thing I noticed was how much quieter it is versus the drive it will be replacing... Plus it works, what more could you ask for?

Awesome HD

I have a Mushkin SSD running Windows 10 but work / school demanded Ubunutu and the UNIX command line. So off to BestBuy I went to pickup my order of a WD Black HD. Got there and they didn't have it in stock and my order got well, backordered. Rather than be a butt and make a stink about it. I requested this HD. Not disappointed thus far. Good boot time in conjunction with the OS in question!

Make sure you have a drive bay that needs 3 screws

Make sure because some drives are coming with only 2 screws on the drive and dont fit bays that need the traditional 3 screw holes.
