Customers are saying
Customers are enthusiastic about the Blue 1TB PC Internal Hard Drive's performance, large storage capacity, and ease of installation. Many also praise its affordability and quiet operation. While some wish it included a SATA cable and offered a longer warranty, the positive feedback on speed, storage, and user-friendliness outweighs these minor drawbacks. The drive's compatibility with various systems is also frequently noted.

Great Hard Drive as Expected
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before I bought this, I had the exact one from 2013 that I took out of an old HP desktop and when I was transferring it over to my low storage gaming pc. I broke the SATA port that connects to the motherboard. I bought this and it was the same one I had and it runs like I expected from WD and also performs like my old one before I totaled it. Simple short, if you want a hard drive to upgrade your pc, this is it, but if you need more performance, I recommend going to the WD Black Hard Drive than the WD Blue Hard drive, but for the majority of the people who wants the basic features and good speeds, go with this one.

Able to revive my Win 7 Dell with this HD
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Between this drive and the included imaging software, I was able to resuscitate my 8 year old Dell desktop with a bad HD for cheap money. Been working flawlessly for over a month. Very happy with it; my old system is working again!

Good for backup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have several of these HDs and use them for backup with a Newer Tech Voyager unit - I can insert them and hot swap. They're fast, inexpensive and always work. I store images and other data, have been doing this for years.

It does what you expect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We will generally only use WD or HGST hard disk drives. I'm glad to see that the "mainstream" WD is now the Blue model as most people will be using this as a primary drive. The faster rotational speed and overall performance jump from the Green drives is nice. I wish the drives still had a 3yr factory warranty but pretty much everyone has gone to 1-2yr other than on SSDs and enterprise class drives.

Pretty good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the drive about a month now and I have not had any problems with it. I am using as a secondary storage drive with an SSD as my boot. This WD installed right into the system and I've had no problems with it. I knocked off a star because there is no mounting hardware other than screws and no sata cable, and best buy's prices on sata cables is higher than they should be.

Good Drive , Good Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced a failing drive with this one. Now I have twice the space, and a faster system, as the old drive was very slow due to errors. A very long backup of old drive restored to this drive in 15 minutes.

Excellent as a main or secondary hdd
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for my new pc becuase I needed more space than my 250 ssd had. It was easy to install and thanks to the 7200 rpm that it boasts, I am able to call up items a lot quicker. It is a great product to have.

Works Well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this drive to replace my 500 GB Seagate that suddenly died. No problem with installation or setup. It does not come with mounting screws or connection wires, but I had them at home anyway. Good price with more capacity than I currently need.

Great drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love Western Digital, their products work great and rarely fail. I helped a friend out who's drive died and this one was priced right and works great. There are faster and higher end drives out there but for what I needed this worked great.

Worked out great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My only "complaint" would be that you didn't actually have the model I was looking for so we ended up choosing a different one. I'm not very familiar with it all but it's my understanding these hard drives come in various "color" models.. for example, Black, Green, Red... everyone I asked at the store were unsure what I was talking about which was sort of surprising.. I had to request to take the product out of the box to ensure what color they were. The labels on the product are color coded. The person at the register reluctantly let me take a look but kept telling me all labels would be black... that was not the case. Maybe your computer people working in the stores need a bit more product knowledge?
