Sure glad Best Buy has a price match.... another competitor had this on sale for $10 cheaper, and Best Buy matched it, saved me the 15 mile trip, and saved a sale as well. Drive was easy to install, enough space for what I need at the present time.

I bought this drive to replace my 500 GB Seagate that suddenly died. No problem with installation or setup. It does not come with mounting screws or connection wires, but I had them at home anyway. Good price with more capacity than I currently need.

Bought this to replace the original HDD that went bad in a 3-year-old desktop. Did a fresh installation of the latest Windows 10 OS, restored my backed-up data files, and the new drive operates quietly with no problems.

Using this hard drive in a 3 hard drive set, SSD hard drive runs the OS, this one has my programs, one other has all my music and pictures. They are all different brands, this was the latest addition. so far so good. 5 months strong. quiet. no problems.

I recently had an OS crash on an older harddrive and was looking for a new harddrive. 1TB at $47 was a hard price to beat. A few minutes later, installed and loading windows 10 with no problems and it has worked great since.

Coming from the IDE drive days I hadn't installed a SATA drive as the 2nd drive before. WOW is it easy to do! Still had to initialize/format it for Windows 8.1, but it's working great now.

I always buy WD because they are the best! I have used them for the last 40 years :)

As I would expect, this hard drive does exactly what was advertised. I had no trouble installing it and checking it out after rebooting my system. I'm very happy with the results.

Western Digital typically makes great high quality and durable products. This hard drive is no exception, it provides quiet and fast operation and should last for a good 5-6+ years.

My only "complaint" would be that you didn't actually have the model I was looking for so we ended up choosing a different one. I'm not very familiar with it all but it's my understanding these hard drives come in various "color" models.. for example, Black, Green, Red... everyone I asked at the store were unsure what I was talking about which was sort of surprising.. I had to request to take the product out of the box to ensure what color they were. The labels on the product are color coded. The person at the register reluctantly let me take a look but kept telling me all labels would be black... that was not the case. Maybe your computer people working in the stores need a bit more product knowledge?

Good choice for basic storage needs. Fairly fast and is reliable.

I would recommend this hard drive for anyone who needs to upgrade. I had problems with my original drive and easily installed it and was able to smoothly get Windows 7 installed and running in a short time. I've had no problems with it at all.

My computer came with this exact hard drive and is still working great so when I decided to install a second HDD for backup it was a no-brainer to get the exact same one. Easy to install!

I bought this hard drive for my son's computer. Works great, excellent price. I decided to do a fresh install since the operating system had not been reinstalled since the computer was new. Makes a huge difference in the computers speed.

my computer crashed a few weeks ago and I was told I need a hard drive. I panicked because I know very little about hard drivers; I went to Best Buy and as usual they were helpful. so far it been great, great value and was easy to installed.

The implementation was easy the instruction was kept simple and user friendly for someone like me who was a first timer even with formatting. Best of all it was a new hard drive in a very old computer and it's still working well.
