Great 1TB HDD at awesome price

Not sure what else I can say about it as this is the kind of product that if it works, it's 5 star, if it doesn't work, it's 0 stars. This one works.

Great price for a great hard drive

This model is the 7200 RPM drive that is now discontinued. When they go on sale I pick them up. Not everyone is ready (or can afford) an SSD so this is a great option.

What I can say is that hard drives, in general, last about as long as their warranties. The one that came with my iMac lasted about 5 years. I then put in a Seagate which lasted as long as it's two year warranty. I believe this hard drive has a two or three year warranty. Well see what happens in two years.

MAC HD Replacement

Uninstalled failed drive, installed this WD HD, reinstalled MAC OS and all was well - except for fan temp sensor. Purchased a used LCD temp sensor purchased from ebay and stuck it on the outside of the HDD..

Cheaper than SSD
