    WD has been my "Go To" drive for computers since my first 286 machine. Back when the word "Byte" and Megabyte were large capacities. The only other brand I've used as extensively was Conner (CP).

    After my old sata drive failed, I was reading that solid state drives boot up very fast. They were right. I would not put music files on them. I would only put programs that you want to load quickly. Keep your files on another hard drive.

    I intended to replace my 1T HDD with two separate drives. I figured out that the power supply in my Lenovo desktop was too low to handle both. I replaced the system drive with an SDD. worked fine after that.
