the process was very easy the tech told you what he was going to do and the time it would take. the all were very pleasant.

I purchased this external hard drive just because it was the cheapest with the most memory. BEST BUY! it works really well on my desktop and till this day nothing has happened.

I wanted to build my own gaming computer but forgot to get a hard drive. The first place I looked for one was Best Buy.

Unfortunately, my old hard drive bit the dust. I was not told why but later found out that many of my files were infected. Anyway, all is well with the new hard drive.

I have used WD ever since I started building systems over 25 years ago. Western Digital went through some problems way back. But has returned to solid storage drives. I use Blue drives because they a cost effective and reliable. I use Red and Red Pro drives in all of my NAS systems. When you need a drive fast, Best Buy will have a WD Hard Drive ready to go.....

I expected the drive to be great, as I have a few of them working. However, this one was faulty so I returned it and decided to go with an SSD drive. This may fall in the small percentage.

I was informed by Geek Squad staff that there would be noise because of it being installed on an old Mac. I was unable to obtain a hard drive for this computer because Apple no longer sells the hard drive for this Mac.

Although the hard drive is great, the kid who waited on me didn't appear to know much about hard drives. I had to find the hard drive I was looking for, myself.

I have not installed this hard drive yet as my system has stabilized. However, I have used WD hard drives in the past and never once had one go bad.

The disc seems fine. Interesting that the store associate assured me that it was impossible to change the disc in an iMac. Then the Geek Squad member recommended a 3-1/2 inch disc when the iMac actually needed a 2-1/2 in unit. Fortunately, Best Buy traded with me.

Decent HDD for the money, but SSDs are quickly reaching that price point. Reliability is to be seen, as this drive is a direct replacement for one that failed after 18 months.

Pretty typical hard drive, nothing too fancy about it. Wish it came with wings to clip into tower case, but lil bit of Redbull and she'll get up d'ere

Western Digital is a solid option for data storage at a reasonable price. In the end, you get what you pay for, and while this isn't a top of the line drive, it'll get the job done and not leave you hurting financially.

Got advice from the associate on the floor. Went home and plugged it into my computer. I now have a lot of storage for my games. Mainly WoW legion, and Starcraft.

The Geek Squad went above and beyond the call of duty trying to repair and save all the information on my computer. And they did it!!!!!

This hard drive is pretty load for today's hard drives. I was able to download the firmware from the WD site and install it on the hard drive. This did quite it up for the most part.

I suspected hy hard drive was going bad and i was correct..this is a great replacement drive a good quality drive to do what i need
