Coming from SSD it's slow but faster than many hard drives. Fairly quiet considering that it works by spinning rust in enclosure :)

Excellent mechanical hard drive

I decided to purchase in store as the price was nearly the same as some on line merchants. After installing and everything was up and running I went on line to write this review. I noticed that the same drive was now on sale. Contacted Customer Service since my purchase was 4 days prior and they were very helpful and will process a refund for the difference. I have had nothing but positive experience with Best Buy. Keep up the good work.

Replacement for a HDD that died.

Very quiet, very fast little drive. If this lasts for the regular use I intend for it, say for the next 6 months, I will buy one or more additional identical drives to accompany it in my system. By the way, I didn't study product reviews before buying because I came across it in the store and discussed it with the sales person, including going online to review the drive. Very helpful.
