Excellent mechanical hard drive

I decided to purchase in store as the price was nearly the same as some on line merchants. After installing and everything was up and running I went on line to write this review. I noticed that the same drive was now on sale. Contacted Customer Service since my purchase was 4 days prior and they were very helpful and will process a refund for the difference. I have had nothing but positive experience with Best Buy. Keep up the good work.

One computer turned out to be a lemon, so I installed both drives in the other and have been using that computer with no problems whatsoever. Despite the computer being a 2005 model, all I needed to make the drives work was a simple jumper; I'm very pleased!

This one is no different. I installed it in my sister's computer in conjunction with a solid state drive, allowing her to balance the weight between the two of them. It's been a real trooper, doing exactly what she needs it to do. The speed isn't amazing, especially not compared to a good SSD, but I expect it'll last for a long time.
