Will not write and will not work for my security cameras after litterally 30 day. Then best buy would not replace it. So much for asking about the exchange policy that I was lied to about. Won't purchase from best buy again sorry but not sorry.

Extremely slow and not very viable for even back purposes. Always try components immediately. As I’m more than like past the return or exchange period.

Then I could not install Windows 10 so I tried to create a GPT partition several times with no success. After several attempts I realized it was defective. I returned to the store. I am not buying WD hard drives anymore.

Geek squad screw up twice

Both times repair not done and I sat there for an hour each time while they fiddled with it but had to keep it for repair. Still don’t have it.

I'm great hdd of I didn't have to nuke it

I tried to format it and it wasn't having it. I used dnb nuke on it to get it clean. Poor qc from WD. I used to love WD, I guess now it's time to try Toshiba or Seagate.
