Great Replacement Drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works as advertised, Had a 5 year old Toshiba Drive that came with my computer fail and needed a replacement and this has filled the void and worked flawlessly out of the box. Plug and play worked well but did have to get the computer to notice the drive but that is a windows thing. Very affordable and did not break the bank. Much better than replacing the whole computer.

The original Seagate drive kept having disk issues, and I was tired of doing restores. I used the build in Windows tool ("Windows 7" tool, even though imaging Windows 8.1) to make a disk image from the Seagate, then copied the image to the Western Digital drive. I have had no trouble at all from the WD drive at all. Works flawlessly.

Good all around hard drive.

Not my first choice, but Best Buy only had these currently stocked on the shelf at my local store at the time. Both drives worked well (running Raid 1). After about a week I upgraded to WD Black drives, now using these as a storage drive for hard drive backups. They are a good basic all around drive, have had no issues.

I have 2 others and they have been running smooth and quiet for almost a year now! LOVE WD! Never had an issue. BEFORE YOU BUY: Make sure you check the prices at other retailers (especially Micro Center) since they are usually cheaper and Best Buy will price match!!
