    I bought this in mid-march and I held out on my review because I was sceptical about WD's performance. I've lost 3 drives previously from that company without being able to recover what I had on them. But I can tell people that this drive has continued to perform just as advertised.

    I loaded everything from my computer which included about 2300 pictures, some over 20 years old, onto this hard drive to make sure I would have a copy. This is a true story, my computer crashed two weeks later and I lost everything. Thankfully I had all info on this external hard drive.
