They are used stricly for data storage and not primary drives. Being WD drives I have some faith in them considering they share a motherboard with one of there grandparents (another WD drive that's been churning for 10 years), that's prehistoric in HDD years.

Works great, no problems

Always work great, I do computer repiars and use these 99% of the time. These hardly ever go bad, in case they do they have a 2 year warranty that you can do yourself from theyre website and they send a replaceemnt drive out in a few weeks.

Saves me a fair amount of real estate on my desk as well as not needing to have a large book sized case and 110VAC outlet to plug each one of them them into. I can run four disks and use two USB ports and 2 110VAC outlets.

WD Internal 1TB drive works well

I have been using it for several weeks now and it is fast and seems to be of the normal high quality I find WD drives. I am very pleased with the work the Geek Squad performed and the quality of the drive they used.
