So far no complaints and no issues with this product. WD have always been known for its reliability and this product is no exception. My current setup: ssd for windows and applications and this hdd for all my games and documents.

I found this hard drive to be a plug N play device. I have a HP with Core I 5 3330 chip that had a bad hard drive. I had no issue with the Bios software recognizing this hard drive. I loaded Linux Mint 17 and it is working like a charm. I liked that even Linux was easy to load in!

I got from BestBuy in an exchange deal to fill a drive slot in my HP gaming PC. It fit without any flaw. Although BestBuy charged me $49.99 for this which is now $39.99. Also it didn't come with a SATA wire which is no much expensive but it should be included with the drive.

I needed an exact duplicate hard drive for my PC as the recover discs recognized that the hard drive I tried to use was not the same. this hard drive worked perfectly AND WAS ON SALE! My PC is now running great and I am very happy. Thank you for such a good product!

This was purchased to replace the original system hard drive. Being 5 years newer and having double the original cache, performance improvement was quite noticeable. The drive being replace began sounding like the bearing were wearing out. Proactive replacement went very smoothly.

Product worked great out of the box. Appreciated the WD software that let me image my old drive to new. even though PC itself is old, feel good that i have my stuff on the new drive, should i need to drop it into another machine.

After microsoft did an unwanted update to my window 7 desktop computer, it would not boot. I purchased a new hard drive, removed the old drive and installed the new drive, then loaded Ubuntu Linux to replace microsoft. It's been working with no problems.

i am very pleased with Western Digital. i used the 1 TB external hard drive to back up my current hard drive running on Windows Vista. I am upgrading my computer to run windows 8.1. The interface worked well and was very easy to understand. i had to transfer information in smaller increments because i was still using 2.0 usb transfer. Great product, great price...and Best Buy matched a lower price that was advertised on a competitors web site!

So happy with the results. Best Buy replaced our hard drive which crashed with this one. We are happy with the results!

Was super easy and fairly cheap to fix my broken computer by replacing the harddrive with this one. My only wish now that it is done and in use is that I would of gotten the hard drive made for performance due to the fact I do a lot with pictures and my kids do a lot of games over the internet.

This was bought to upgrade an older PC because the 250GB started developing bad sectors. Got everything cloned over successfully and have tons of free space now. I always buy WD HDDs and caught a great sale price just after Black Friday in the process.

This is a great HDD for any of your media storage. It is currently the only storage option I have in my PC at the moment but I am planning a new build. I will mount a couple SSD's to boot my OS from but I will still keep this HDD for media storage and backup. Not much else to say, it's a pretty standard drive, nothing exceptional but it works as intended. Would buy again and recommend to a friend.
