Replaced an old Seagate drive & noticed a difference in performance & quiet too.

Great drive with a super price. Very easy to install and works will. Would buy again.

Installing hard disk was easy, I get a good performance, the place to install up to computer chase.

My computer went kaput. I had to get a hard drive for my computer. I was inexpensive and it is like having a new computer without the cost of buying another computer. I recommend this highly for someone who doe not have to store too much data.

I was previously running two older HDDs mainly for storing game clips and gaming edits. It was a nightmare keeping up with which clip was where while editing. But the WD 1tb paired with my 240gb Ssd changed my nightmares to dreams.

I have always purchased Western Digital Hard Drives, both internal and external USB Drives. I have 29 years of IT experience, and I have never lost a hard drive, much less a Western Digital brand. Best Buy purchases online are very informative when giving specifications.

I've had bad luck with another popular and cheaper brand. I didn't want to break the bank with this build, but I also didn't want to end up with a part I needed to RMA a month into use either, so I went with the WD. Works well. Would definitely buy again.

The Seagate went bad had to replace it. I have three other WD drives quiet and run well.

Bought for geek squad to install in my old pc once the old hd was copied..... No luck; old hd was toast, so this new hd returned to BB & I bought new desktop unit. But this hd would have been an excellent replacement, even an improvement, for the old unit.

I bought this while it was on sale, and it is a very good, reliable drive. I've been using WD Caviar Blues for years, and haven't had any issues with them. I anticipate this drive lasting me a while before I have the need to replace it due to failure.

I purchased this to use for extra storage on my computer. It was easy to install and format. If you have a question on how to format a newly installed drive just check it out on Youtube. I did the long format process and it worked like a charm!

I used this drive to fix an old 2010 iMac that had a failed drive. It only took 1-2 hours total including researching how to take it apart. It’s super cool that the front glass is held on by magnets!!! The only thing that didn’t connect was the fan control on the hard drive but don’t think that’s WD’s fault. Everything seems to run fine and its even on High Sierra now!!!

I installed these drives in a "raid 1" configuration, and have experienced zero issues! For the prices, if they were to last only a year (I thinking they will last a decade) I'll still be satisfied!

I've owned WD drives for decades. I've had only one fail out of 60 or 60. Other drive brands have let me down more often. So I chose WD Blue for a backup drive. Sure it is slower than my SSD drives and my NVme 2 internal drives, but this is for security. The prices was good and the drive worked.

The hard drive on our desktop computer failed so it was off to our computer tech for help. He sent me to Best Buy to get a SATA hard drive. I follow directions well. The price was reasonable, it has 1 TB of storage, so what could be better!

Has more capacity than the entire world had 50 years ago and zips right along when you use it. I would like to think that I will never need all this space but that's just fooling myself. Does make a whirring sound, more than some others but not to the point of being obnoxious.

Performs as I expected an HDD would. While it's no SSD, my machine still boots up quickly and starting applications doesn't feel too delayed. I think this is a great option for a budget build or just some extra storage to compliment an SSD.

WD is a well known brand with reliable service and meets or exceeds warranty length of any other leading brand. I won't ever hesitate to purchase WD hard drives. I do IT Support for work and I use them frequently.

This is the second hard drive I have purchased for this ten year old desktop computer. Yes, I need to replace it, but as a retiree I needed a more affordable solution. This hard drive was just what I needed. I have had no problems at all.

Quality drive. Works well. Used it to replace a crashed main hard drive and get the computer functional, while simultaneously enabling me to extract data from the old drive in a separate process. New hard drive has performed flawlessly.
