I had a hard drive go out and headed to Best Buy for a quick fix . The Geek squad recommended WD Mainstream internal Serial ATA hard drive . I also had them install it . Took it home and it works awesome ! Could not be more happy .

Does not include a SATA cable, so just be aware of that. I have plenty so it wasn't an issue. Drive went in fast and is running fine. Just what I expect.

These hard drives are great for small storage expansion and there really reliable i have 5 split between a few different pcs and they all have been running without any problems for several years now.

Decent hard drive with 7200 rpm. Windows 10 reinstalled with no issues.

Most Desktops are made with a very small C drive and large D Drive, which is great if you are not going to run a huge amount of programs. I do though and found that upgrading my desktop (C) to a 1TB worked wonders.

I always buy WD Blue...never an issue. I leave my system on for years and only reboot once a week and the WD HDD's always work and are very quiet. Can't beat the price at BB

Weatern digital makes very good hard drives I have used them for years with very good results.

Friendly and down to earth explanation of work to be done and as project was done...kept frequent contact through email or text.And, finished before original estimate. which worked fine.

Office computer had an older Western Digital 1TB harddrive that was failing; hardware issue that Windows could not fix. Bought this WD drive to replace it. Installed and setup Windows 10. It has been running great with no issues.

Installation was easy in my Dell Inspirion 660. I used my restore discs and the whole operation went smooth. For whatever reason, my computer is operating much faster now, but it may be just because things are cleaned up now.

Between this drive and the included imaging software, I was able to resuscitate my 8 year old Dell desktop with a bad HD for cheap money. Been working flawlessly for over a month. Very happy with it; my old system is working again!

Western Digital makes the most reliable standard drives that I have used. I always use and recommend these drives when price and reliability are important. I have gotten more than 6 years of life from these drives.

So far has worked great and is as fast as a magnetic drive is supposed to be.

If you are getting an older HD, make sure it’s 7200rpm. The 5400 are not as fast. Obviously a SSD is better these days but these make great backup drives. I always have trusted Seagate and Wester Digitial for HD’s.

Western Digital is my favorite hard drive manufacturer. I usually have good luck with it. I have a lot of computers and most of them use the Western Digital hard drives.

Bought to replace a failed drive in my daughter's computer. Nothing flashy, but all three booted into RAID 5 config without any issue, and installed Windows without a hitch.

The hard drive that came with my desk top computer stopped working so I decided to buy this 1TB hard drive to replace the other and it works perfect. It gives me a good amount of space and it runs fast and its not that expensive.
