7200 RPM, 64 MB buffer, SATA III, does the job as advertised. Still only get 5.9 Windows Experience hard disk score, which is about the best you'll get with out paying more for a hybrid or full SSD drive. No complaints.

I have an SSD for my o.s. and wanted a hdd to store music, pictures and games I don't play a lot of so I don't use up the space in the SSD. This was on sale and worked as soon as I installed it. It was package nice and I had no issues. Great buy

The hard drive was very easy to install. I am not a computer genius by any means so I found the instructions easy to follow. If you have the Restore Disks that come with your computer, use those to set up everything.

This 1T disk is easy to install and the speed is very fast. Good product.

Upgraded the capacity in my son's computer. This is his second drive, the primary is a SSD. He needed extra capacity to load programs and play around. This was a cheap option.

I bought this hard drive as a storage addition for my gaming PC, as my other HDD (WD Black series 1TB) has finally gotten about full. So, in a pinch for money, I settled for the cheaper WD Blue series. I've put mostly games on it, with some photos and misc programs mixed in. Surprisingly, it holds it's own very well in the face of a performance series such as WD Black, with load times being nearly identical with little to no difference behind those of a WD Black. It has identical RPM, cache size, transfer speed etc and I have noticed no issues whatsoever with it in the 2 months I've had it. Pros: -Relatively inexpensive -Typical WD quality -Has yet to catch fire and/or explode Cons: -None, really, unless you don't want the blue label to mess up your color coding.

Western Digital is a good brand 1 Tb is enough for my customers which need a fixed desktop computer at work. I use this size for Car's Work Mechanics with great success.

It's a hard drive. It's 1TB. It's a great brand with a superb warranty. Not sure what else I can say about it as this is the kind of product that if it works, it's 5 star, if it doesn't work, it's 0 stars. This one works.

I prefer WD hard drives for my builds and repairs. This model is the 7200 RPM drive that is now discontinued. When they go on sale I pick them up. Not everyone is ready (or can afford) an SSD so this is a great option.

A very dependable upgrade to get your tired old computer to operate as it did when you purchased it. There are SSD's out there which are better but the size of this makes a much easier crossover.

I replaced a bad HDD with this WD and have not had a single problem. Along with the drive, I was given instructions on how to clone my damaged drive to the new one, and it was quick and simply. I would recommend this product to anyone.

I have found these drives to work best with my external Black X drive docking station. Program data saves and backups run very fast on it. Big QuickBooks company files backup and verify within 45 seconds of [save] click. Gave it a good rating only because of the short time it has been in service. Other than that, it is giving top notch performance at a great price.

I bought this internal hard drive for the data in my PC because the Windows operating system is on a much smaller SSD drive. This way I keep my data separate & have plenty of room for data on this 1GB hard drive.

This drive was on sale when I got it and it has been well worth the money! Even at full price it's a great deal. Easy to install and format (if you're on a Mac.) I would definitely purchase another one of these, or maybe a 2TB.

My old hard drive died on me and Geek Squad recommended this WD-Mainstream. So far so good. I must admit it's definitely running faster and smoother than my old one. Thanks to Geek Squad for pulling me thru!
