I bought this to replace a failed 320 gb drive in my HP tower. My pc is over 7 years old and this drive doesnt draw more power or slow the system down at all. I'm very happy with this drive and would buy it again.

While looking for this product on Amazon (due to Amazon having low prices) I got on Best Buy website to price compare. Price was identical. My local store also had it in stock. I ordered online, picked it up at store two hours later. The entire purchase experience was terrific. The website is great, the pickup program is easy and convenient, and the staff at my local store in Greensburg PA are always helpful and pleasant to deal with. I am all around satisfied: Good product, good price, excellent service.

I needed more storage for my PC. I bought the hard drive, installed it with a sata cable and an extra power connector from my PSU and boom extra 1tb of storage.

Replaced on my company computer and runs excellent and outstanding performance for a point-of-sale computer that never turns off. Waited a few months before this review to test this product.

Great price for a 1TB internal drive. You can use these blue drives as your main system drive but I suggest using it as a data drive and getting faster WD Black drives as your main system drive.

My hard drive had crashed and had to be replaced. This one was in stock and reasonable priced. It was definitely what I needed at the time and continues to work well today.

This is probably one of the best options for a general use hard disk drive. Western Digital has great reliability on their consumer grade drives - I have one that has been running for 7+ years of spin time.

These are great for RAID setups and perform well as data storage devices. Not recommended for OS drive on a gaming machine but if that's all you have then it's proficient for any job.

This drive and a sector drive duplicator, you're home free. Windows 7 Computer Management feature found the drive immediately after after power-up. This was the easiest hard drive failure recovery ever. MRFX2001

This particular drive as with most now days are time-tested, so are stable and reliable. The price point is right in the middle of where it should be, not too high, possibly a little on the low side. Spin up time was good, only time will tell with regard to longevity. A good choice in a replacement drive.

this has worked great ever since I have installed it. Seems to work alot better than the original hard drive that came on my Dell computer

I have used many hard drives in my offices. I have found that this drive is a great replacement drive. It holds up under normal use for years. I am very satisfied with the Wd brand of hard drives.
