I just needed some extra storage space. Hadn't bought a new drive for quite a while. They have really upped their game, was astounded how fast this thing is!

I have used these to replace many desktop and laptop pen drives and they always work. I have yet to have any fail within 5 years. Good price - great product.

The packaging states "Seamlessly migrate your current system to your new WD drive using Acronis TrueImage..." was far from seamless. WD Technical support asked for a 2 day test of the drive and only have support for 30 days. A Best Buy Geek stated it was impossible to transfer the old system to a new drive. The greek Squad would transfer the data only. It looks a lot like I have bought a spare data drive as opposed to a replacement for my failing hard drive. Not recommended for this purpose.

Great price and great performance! Short of SSD, this is a great option!! I will be buying more as I need more!

Recently in stalled dive after the last one crashed after 6 years. To this date, approx. 1 month ago ,it has performed without a glitch, smoothly and very quietly.

As a computer technician I only buy Western Digital. I find they are far superior to other brands. Occasionally I will get a bad one but generally they are very reliable.

I setup a RAID-5 array using these drives. Great value for the money and so far they have worked excellent. I know WD has a good direct warranty. I recommend this drive

Needed a drive to replace a failing drive. No issues. Upgraded to a SSD as the primary drive and used this drive to store the user profile/data.

Recently my hard drive crashed and I needed a new one. This one had nearly double the space of my old one and was a good drive for storing my back-up files.

This is the Hard Drive that was recommended by Geek Squad at the store and they were able to install it in short amount of time. My computer is now working very well.

These are a classic sata drive and work great with almost any type of PC. And if you have problems WD has your back. Easy to install and your on your way to 1tb of awesomness

This was just what i needed! HD was great but not so much fun replacing the failed HD. reloading windows was pretty easy just trying to find all the programs and passwords that i had can be a pain. new HD works great and really seemed to speed up my old computer.

Bought this to replace another crashed hard drive. Easy to install and boot up. Works fine, I hope that it lasts a long time. No complaints.

No issue's what so ever, don't forget to change the hard drive properties so it can be recognizable to your PC build.

After reading many reviews, I bought this drive for a new pc build. Install was easy and has worked flawlessly ever since. Can’t complain.

This hard drive has been working just fine. I installed it in my security system PVR after my old one quit and it's worked fine with no issues.
