Using this as secondary storage and backup. Easy to install, extremely fast data transfer rates, very reliable storage.

Replacement was easy. Only temporary roadblock was finding the little tabs that released the old drive. Some hard-to-read arrows on the release tabs were the key. Drive works fine.

Have used WD hard drives in all my machines and have never let me down. Have had desk tops built with them in it and built my machines . Only used WD for they are dependable.

The disc seems fine. Interesting that the store associate assured me that it was impossible to change the disc in an iMac. Then the Geek Squad member recommended a 3-1/2 inch disc when the iMac actually needed a 2-1/2 in unit. Fortunately, Best Buy traded with me.
