Simple, cheap

I'm sure others would argue with me on this point by saying they are the long time standard-bearer of hard drives. My overall issue is its energy management software. In short, all Western Digital drives spin down much too quickly and take themselves off-line. Overall, it's not a terrible trait. It's just annoying when you leave the drive alone for 5 minutes, it spins down and then interrupts your workflow when you call on it and it needs to spin back up. I prefer Seagate's Barracuda line.
