    I bought this to supplement an SSD that I put into a new PC I was building. It's a relatively fast hard drive with a good amount of cache.

    Had to use it to fix my desktop due to a Hard Drive failure. It worked great but a friend of mine recommended an SSD drive. Once I try to SSD Drive, it was history. This Hard DRive is great if you don't mind the boot up time.

    I got this drive to throw into my security camera dvr. Technically it's not meant for that application, but for the price it is disposable really. I've used wd drives for years and can't think of one that has outright failed.

    Swapped out the bad drive very easily with the WD software. Best Buy had what we needed when we needed it. Very pleased with this product.

    My Lenovo desktop computer is barely a year and a half old and the garbage hard drive that was in it failed. (Will NEVER buy Lenovo again!) But this hard drive seems to be good (so far) and was not too terribly expensive.
