Was looking to replace a very old drive. Works as needed and runs quietly.

Needed to upgrade my storage to hold all pics and music. This worked out fine. Easy install and easy storage.

Great mass Storage and respectable read and write speeds for a hard drive. I need mass storage for video editing so I put this in my PC with my free Hard Drive Tray. When I use OBS as soon as I end the recording the video is almost instantaneously available as a file to be used.

Good space for the money. If it lasts, I'll give it 5 stars, but that'll take years to determine. I've had better luck with WD than Seagate in the past.

Excellent hard drive, I have purchased several WD SATA hard drives from Best Buy and have never had a problem or failure with any of them.

All my western digital hard drives I have purchased have luckily not let me down for the 6 or so years I have had them. I have an earlier revision of this drive, and so far it has compared favorably to the one I originally bought. Seems unchanged since the last revision.

Western Digital delivers again always with a great product built to deliver performance and longevity. I have used every type of HDD over the years and WD is hands down the best. And thank you Best Buy for the deals on these. Didn't have to order online, got a better price in store!!

Great value for the size. Works as advertised just remember this ain't no ssd. More than enough space for your pc game library.

Easy to install, and so nice to have even more storage

Had to return it because of the 4TB My security computer's BIOS only recognized 2 TB. Purchased the 2 TB model. The 4 GB was a bargain and most computers can use it. It is replacing a 15-year-old drive of the same model and brand.

Only had it for a month but it is working fine. WD is supposed to be a good brand for reliability. Some people are saying that there might be two versions of this drive. One with newer technology. I don't know if I got the better one or if I would be able to tell the difference. I just need a bigger drive for back up files.

Great bang for your buck. I bought it on sale for just over $60. However, depending on what exactly you're building, I might recommend an SSD instead. If this is a work PC, then this is perfectly fine, doubt you'll ever reach the 4TB limit. However, if you're building a gaming PC, I'd recommend going with WD's Blue 4TB SSD instead. Though it is several times more expensive, for the same storage, you're going to be glad you purchased it.

Best HDD ever!!! Store all my database and super to read at least for my purpose.
