If you want to store a lot of data these drives are great. Western digital is very consistent and has great customer service

I love this hard drive. Bought this so I can have an extra hard drive to store all my movies and shows. For the price and quality this is great. Is fast and quiet. Plex has no problems accessing data and is very quick. I love WD hard drives.

I purchased this drive as replacement for the three 250GB drives (setup in a RAID 0 Array) in the rebuild of my existing PC. I've been using it for a while now and have had absolutely 0 issues with the drive. I will admit the first drive I received (I had it shipped) did fail on me (more than likely shipping damage as the drive was improperly packaged when it shipped), but the 2nd one has had absolutely 0 issues. I've been using Western Digital drives for a number of years now (well over 15+ years) and have never had a problem with them. Their warranty service is top notch and their drives have a solid build quality.

This product works great and has allowed me to store a lot of larger applications without worrying about space.

Good for storage is old version hard drive but work DVR and storage big files

We put this in our new desktop PC to backup photos and music files. Setup was reasonable and has been working well for a month. Too early to comment on long term reliability.

Great storage drive for a mini nas project. Price is decent and haven't had any problems.

WD Blue worked like a charm; I only use Western Digital because they haven't failed me in 20~years of pc building and upgrades.

Nothing much to say about this drive other than it's decent for its price. I personally use this as my game drive which is then cached by a 970 EVO using Primocache.

I needed a large reliable internal hard drive and this Western Digital was perfect. I have had no issues with it. I prefer WD over Seagate any day

I am able to download the newest Warzone update thanks to this beast. Don't settle for the 1TB version. Spend a little extra and get the extra space because games are huge now.

Works very well. I threw windows 7 on it, an although it had some formatting issues (more in other thoughts). It seems to perform very well.

Fast and quiet drives! I have two 4TB drives in a striped array and they are performing very well! WD has been my go-to brand for years, and these drives met my expectations.

Got this for my girlfriend to store photos on. Fast for her but nothing super speedy since it's not needed. One of the best price per TB out there.

I purchased two for a NVR for my house. The price was right for the amount of storage. Although it's not the fastest, it seems to be working fine.

Normally run faster Black performance drives, but after trying this out, I haven't seen any performance degradation with long duration recordings, or file encoding/decoding. It's also much more quiet, which makes sense at the lower RPMs.

Its a hard drive, may not be as fast as an SSD, but you cannot beat the price to volume of the storage you get with this.

Excellent add on your pc, was installed as a second hard drive for data purposes and works perfectly, bought in on sale. I use an ssd as the primary drive.
