    This is great for storage, but that's it. My system hangs every now and then when I access it. Typical of any platter-based drive, but this one is quite slow. I wouldn't recommend it for games, programs. or your OS, but it's great for file storage such as pictures, movies, and documents.

    No problems at all. Functions exactly like I expected it to -- except may be faster than I anticipated. Maybe it's just perception, but it really does seem faster than most spinning discs I've used. Either way, I'm happy with it.

    Lots of space with this 4TB for pictures and music storage, but a little slow to transfer files to and from this HD.

    Good Value for what I got, really wanted 7200 RPM but choice was not on shelf so I settled for 5400 RPM.

    This is a standard rotating platter HDD. Use it for computers that are only going to be on while you are physically using them, or if you put them into hibernate. This HDD is not for extended use, day in day out, on all the time. If you are looking for that, use RED or BLACK versions. Good size to cost comparison. I've had a ton of HDD's over the years. Western Digital remains my favorite. I have a DROBO Pro, which houses 8 HDDs. Many HDDs have failed over the years. WD's still last the longest.

    It's an internal hard drive. They're fungible, as far as I can tell. No problems.
