Piece of junk.....after 2 months of not using it. I installed into a SATA control box that reads all SATA drives and now it's not being recognized by the system and it's asking to format the drive. I should have stayed with SEAGATE

I believe the hard drive I bought is just 2 tb, Is supossed to be 4 tb but 2 tb is all windows 10 pro recognize's

This drive failed to load when plugged into my PC. Kept getting a clicking sound on the drive. Unable to boot. Attempted a return with Best Buy, but would only get store credit. Do not buy this drive even on sale. It's not reliable compared to other brands like Seagate.

Started squeaking and appears to have in < 30 days. Havent even put anything on it yet.

Would Not buy again, crashed after 15 months. Good price poor quality

I am not a happy camper with this HD. The plastic portion for the directional 7 pin connector broke right off like it had already a crack in it. So here I sit with a brand new 4TB worthless hard drive. Doesn't even make a good book end. I really really needed this drive too.

Not even 30 days after I bought it, the spindle started skipping. 5 days later, the whole thing failed. I looked into return options but I had just missed my BB exchange window and Western Digital wants me to pay about a third of what I paid for just to RMA it. I'd avoid WD Blue if I were you.

Came as a dud. Doesn’t work from the start and I have to take it to a place an hour away to trade it in because I lost the box. Waste of time and 80$. Maybe you’ll have better luck.

Not a bad hard drive, but overpriced in comparison to other retailers.

Someone bought this using my account info but it wasn’t me so I’ll say I didn’t like this at all it didn’t work, I’ve never seen it

The disk delivered was broken - screeching and clicking, not visible on Windows nor Ubuntu. The old 1TB did not exhibit this kind of behaviour.

check my drives health once a week, this one showed good, six days later couldn't copy data to or from the drive. go to check health. BAD. 200gb of family photos lost. thanks WD

Got a year and month out of this drive before it died.

Not working straight out of the box, not sure how WD can make something that bad.

I can't get it for windows or bios to detected i have a asus b550-a I have swapped the cables it has power and nothing I've tried every video I see in YouTube and nothing

Terrible failure on both of my drives. Bought two of these and both failed within 6 months

DOA I guess after buying so many HDD’s I was due for this. Only one I had fail. I’ll still buy WD. One out of 10K maybe?

I purchased this and it turned out not to work so i need to return it to exchange it

Unit lasted 3 days before it broke and was no longer usable!

damage and return. BB gave me damage package and tape name over it.
