Good Hard Drive for a good price will definitely buy again!

Using as back up storage. Replaced 7 year old 1tb hard drive. It was still working but was full. Other thought was the same price I paid for a 1tb HDD 7 years ago. Cheapest way to get backup storage.

Bought this drive for under $70! I am using this with a docking station, it's much quicker than the dedicated back up drives. I use this to back up 3 PC's.

I thought that I needed a 7200rpm drive, but was wrong when I saw the speed of this drive. It’s being used basically as a media storage, and it has been beating out my other external drive options.

I purchased 2 for installing in two older PCs with small hard drives. These installed easy, were recognized properly by Windows 10, and do their job just fine.

Drive works great, will know more in a few years. S.M.A.R.T. test shows everything is as it should be.

Tons of storage and I’m an avid gamer and do lots of file transfers this thing is lightning quick and ready to go as soon as you hook it up you see the difference in transfer speeds and performance!

Works as expected. Easy to install and setup Ubuntu Linux on. No problems as yet.

I love this hard drive. Bought this so I can have an extra hard drive to store all my movies and shows. For the price and quality this is great. Is fast and quiet. Plex has no problems accessing data and is very quick. I love WD hard drives.

I purchased this drive as replacement for the three 250GB drives (setup in a RAID 0 Array) in the rebuild of my existing PC. I've been using it for a while now and have had absolutely 0 issues with the drive. I will admit the first drive I received (I had it shipped) did fail on me (more than likely shipping damage as the drive was improperly packaged when it shipped), but the 2nd one has had absolutely 0 issues. I've been using Western Digital drives for a number of years now (well over 15+ years) and have never had a problem with them. Their warranty service is top notch and their drives have a solid build quality.

If you want to store a lot of data these drives are great. Western digital is very consistent and has great customer service

We put this in our new desktop PC to backup photos and music files. Setup was reasonable and has been working well for a month. Too early to comment on long term reliability.
