easy to install on windows 10 and editing video. good amount of storage.

Used in my NAS for my home/office. I have 4 of these running all the time for the last 4 or 5 years and this was the first replacement that I needed to purchase. No other problems or issues. I would NOT use this as a C drive in any computer, These are built for storage and and files. So using one as a data drive YES especially if you go with a smaller SSD for your C drive.

This is used as a secondary storage drive. Moved data from a drive that was starting to have some issues. Works well. Price was competitive.

I think it’s a great drive for the current price ($65). Plan to store videos and maybe some lesser often played games on it. Also experimenting w/ using a cache software to see if it improves loading times (just for kicks). Solid quality from WD as per my usual experience.

It worked. Not much else to say. In my application speed isn’t an issue so I can’t comment on that. I’m very happy with the capacity and cost.

Best HDD ever!!! Store all my database and super to read at least for my purpose.

These drives are good and dependable in a desktop. No hiccups with this drive. My main pc boots with an M.2 SSD, but I use this 4 tb for file storage. They are not the fastest SATA drive, but with the SSD running the OS, it doesn't need to do anything special but idle till it has a job.

Had to return it because of the 4TB My security computer's BIOS only recognized 2 TB. Purchased the 2 TB model. The 4 GB was a bargain and most computers can use it. It is replacing a 15-year-old drive of the same model and brand.

All my western digital hard drives I have purchased have luckily not let me down for the 6 or so years I have had them. I have an earlier revision of this drive, and so far it has compared favorably to the one I originally bought. Seems unchanged since the last revision.

Its big, and it just works. Just make sure to have this INSIDE of your PC rather than hanging outside. I can store all of my old videos on there.

I have an external drive enclosure and have used mostly WD 4TB drives. I have a mix of Red, Black and Blue drives. This is a Blue drive which I understand is mainly for video surveillance cameras but it has worked fine for File backup and storage. I am waiting to determine the long term reliability but so far is working file and the speed seems comparable to the other WD drives I have used.
