Great Drive for the Money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this drive as replacement for the three 250GB drives (setup in a RAID 0 Array) in the rebuild of my existing PC. I've been using it for a while now and have had absolutely 0 issues with the drive. I will admit the first drive I received (I had it shipped) did fail on me (more than likely shipping damage as the drive was improperly packaged when it shipped), but the 2nd one has had absolutely 0 issues. I've been using Western Digital drives for a number of years now (well over 15+ years) and have never had a problem with them. Their warranty service is top notch and their drives have a solid build quality.

Setup was reasonable and has been working well for a month. Too early to comment on long term reliability.

Don't settle for the 1TB version. Spend a little extra and get the extra space because games are huge now.

I have two 4TB drives in a striped array and they are performing very well! WD has been my go-to brand for years, and these drives met my expectations.

It's also much more quiet, which makes sense at the lower RPMs.
