So far so good / No issues and backed up a bit of stuff . Hoping it last as long as my previous 2TB

Great hard drive for your everyday purposes. Was running low on space and this freed up enough so I didn’t have to keep deleting things

Installed easily for a second hard drive in my desktop. Good value, no problems.

As a photographer, I bought two of these to back-up my images as the 2TB drives I had been using were running out of space. So far they are working out great and I will probably pick up a couple of more soon.

This hard drive was the right price and exactly what I needed for my steam games.

I gave this four stars, because its a 4 TB HDD. The problem lies in its set up. The hard drive was set up from factory, with only half the drive usable, due to how the drive was initialized there. Windows, in that configuration can only run HD's upto 2 TB, leaving the rest of the drive useless. There are no directions on how to get the full use of 4 TB. I had to fumble around on WD's website, download some programs and figure it out on my own. I did figure it out, it just took awhile. Other than the initial set up after install, its a solid fast large HD. They should send out these HD's that are larger than 2 TB set up for full use from the factory. Or send directions with it.

Fast and easy transfer of information and easy to use WD has everything you need on their website to ease the transfer of information from your older HD to the new WD HD.

A good old fashioned HDD that performs reliably. I have always stuck with WD and have never been disappointed.

No issues, but that's what I would expect. Geek Squad needs some training though.

Works great no complaints. Ran as expected averaging 160-180mpbs. Came from Seagate hdd which lasted me almost 12 years. Hoping to get the same from WD.

Gets the job done with its 4TB storage capacity. It provides plenty of space for documents, photos, music, videos and other data at a lower cost compared to an SSD or newer storage drives.

seems to be working well they shipped quick and packed decent I just wish they would say the size of it is what is usable space and not play games making you think you are getting more space than what you get

The price of the HDD is mostly what sold me on it but installation was pretty easy for me and so far no issues have came up.

I used both Seagate and Western Digital hard drives. Western Digital outperforms. Stands up better.

great harddrive for the price and got 4tb of storage which should take a while to fill up.

The disk drives installed and worked perfectly. My intention was to have a mirrored drive as a backup but I don't want it powered up and running all the time. I want to mirror once a month or weekly if I deem it necessary. I do not want my backup drive wearing out at the same rate as the primary and I do not want it to be subjected to the same environmental problems such as power or spills or being knocked off the table while it is running. I have elected to remove the power plug until I want to update the backup drive. There are other backup methods but this is my choice.

Great hard drive … using it for TimeMachine backup

I like that it is easy to install in my desktop. My only concern is that, I hope they include a hard drive cable so customers can install it right away. If you need to add a little more dollar on the price, it's fine.
