I used both Seagate and Western Digital hard drives. Western Digital outperforms. Stands up better.

great harddrive for the price and got 4tb of storage which should take a while to fill up.

The disk drives installed and worked perfectly. My intention was to have a mirrored drive as a backup but I don't want it powered up and running all the time. I want to mirror once a month or weekly if I deem it necessary. I do not want my backup drive wearing out at the same rate as the primary and I do not want it to be subjected to the same environmental problems such as power or spills or being knocked off the table while it is running. I have elected to remove the power plug until I want to update the backup drive. There are other backup methods but this is my choice.

Great hard drive … using it for TimeMachine backup

I like that it is easy to install in my desktop. My only concern is that, I hope they include a hard drive cable so customers can install it right away. If you need to add a little more dollar on the price, it's fine.

Great hard drive for everything from storage to basic gaming.

I had to replace a failed system disk. Split disk into to partitions and loaded windows 10 . Zero problems. It was be ruuning a couple of weeks 24 hours a day good investment.

Happy that I made this purchase. I store all my videos and photos on this hard drive. This is all the space you will need. Also was very easy to install.

If u need a huge amount of storage, use this harddrive

I got this drive to replace my factory installed 1tb drive. I found out that this drive is only 5400 rpm, whereas my original drive is a 7200 rpm. A little slower and I do notice a difference when doing some things, but not really a problem.

Installed without issue. Works fine. A good internal drive to store info that I don't need an SSD for ideal performance.

Very reliable hard drive which I use to backup my windows 10 PC. I 've used Western Digital hard drives in the past with no loss of data.

Not the fastest drive but it works perfectly at a good price point.
