Better setup instructions because Windows does not naturally format the drive at a size any larger than 2Tb. Western Digital HelpDesk, primarily simply answer the phone than have to ask someone else for the actually assistance.

Fast and lots of space to spare works on everything

The install was fairly easy and straight forward, though my computer didn't want to detect it for some reason. After that had all gotten worked out, the drive is pretty large and reasonably fast. I have only had it for a couple weeks but it's showing no errors and haven't had any issues with it.

Needed a quick replacement for a failing NAS drive. Though not rate for my system, it runs faster and cooler than my other drives.

This brand specially this model doesn't have the best track record. Its slow but if you need plenty of storage space I say go for it. If you want a media drive I would look elsewhere this is not very fast.

Bought as a replacement for 2 older hard drives. Works well, and transfers at a normal rate for it's type.

Greatest purchase at the price I've found it at. I would have preferred 6TB or 8TB yet as my first 4TB I was happy this item was in stock and on sale!

I purchased this drive to replace a failing one that is not Western Digital. I am using this drive to backup valuable information on my system, so cannot say that I have had any issues with it.

This is was installed by the Geek Squad, and man does it work great! I would recommend this to anyone needing a larger Hard drive!
