Glad that they had some CMR drives in stock. Watch out for the slightly cheaper SMR drives. These ones are slower and overall worse. If you are using these in a NAS or NVR, make sure to get CMR drives. The model number correlates to the WD datasheet.

This 4 Terabyte Hard drive was on sale for about 100 dollars. I needed a mass storage drive for all my movies and videos in my home server. It works great!

Had this for a few months now and bought it as a storage drive for my surveillance system. the drive is very quiet and read/write/access times are really good. It hasn't stuttered yet.

I received this within 2 days in great condition. Easy to install and working great. I replaced a 2TB with this for my security cameras.

Fairly straight forward installation on my PC, granted all my wiring efforts better translates to a rats nest. Got fat storage.

Replaced my 8 year old 1tb blue with this drive. It’s louder than any other spinning drive i’ve had when spinning up but is fine once it’s settled in. A fine drive, ok for archive speeds, decent value!

I bought this one for my essential desktop. It was perfect for my using. I got a larger space than SSD.

Haven't had an issue. Run it all day for Data Storage in a dock. I mean on 24/7 unless I am out of town and shut everything down. I mostly use it like I would as an internal drive. I keep my OS Apps and updates only. All work saved Off to this drive. I also have 2 NAS red drives internally in my system haven't had any issues. Just upgrading my old hard drives to newer drives.

This drive is performing just fine. I've had numerous WD Drives over the years and only one let me down (a 750 Raptor that died in about a year). That was many years ago. So far, this drive is responding very well. Smooth and quick. No noticeable noise.

It is a good hard drive, it stores my stuff, and lets me access my stuff when I would like to access my stuff instead of just storing the stuff.

Bought this to replace an internal drive received with my Dell PC. No problem in installing, cloning or using it thus far. Noted that it is 5400 rpm drive but found no issues in copying files back and forth. Hoping that it is reliable in the long as it is my primary hard drive and stores all my critical files. The Dell packaged a small SSD for the OS. Have several Western Digital drives that are 7200rpm. Didn't find any difference in daily use of this WD Blue 5400 rpm.
