Good price for 4 TB drive, never had issues with WD drives.

Western Digital is a product company that is known in the computer community. It is a very reliable hard drive 4TB is more than enough for a one time purchase wroth of storage and future proofing your product. This hard drive is definitely a go to purchase.

Best hd drive I have ever bought. Will purchase again soon for another Computer hard drive upgrade. Worth all 5 stars. And the price was great.

I mostly use these larger drives in my RAID based NAS systems. They are very reliable but like anything mechanical, can eventually fail. But because of the low price point and RAID technology, swapping in a new drive doesn't cost me any data or much money.

I was originally searching for a 1 or 2 Terabyte Drive, for twice the price of this 4 TB drive. After installing it on my clients desktop, the speed (for a spindle based harddrive) and the ease of installation make this an incredible purchase. Highly recommend it!

Bought to add digit films and placed it in a HD closure and worked exceptionally…

I bought two of these hard drives to expand my already too large media library. Zero problems so far and I always go with WD so I'm confident they'll be fine. Couldn't beat the price Best Buy is selling these right now.

I actually used two of these and filled them for long term storage if large video files. Worked as it should.

WD makes a solid hard drive that is a good value !!

This drive is a decent storage drive. It has SMR technology, which is slightly inferior to CMR. I am using this deive for backups, so it fits my need. It is a very good deal if you can get it for around 50$.

Just wanted it to dump all my resets onto it. So far it’s alive it’s been over a year. Does its job well.

Use it as back up for all my files on my computer. Works great and keeps on trucking

I've been using Western Digital drives for over 15 years and have never had a issue with their products. I'm currently using two of these drives for my NAS to stream my personal collection of movies and pictures through my personal network.

Nice large drive. Motherboard MUST support UEFI and you must format the drive in Windows 10 as GPT and not MBR to use full capacity and as Drive 0. Without UEFI capable motherboard you are limited to 2.1T. Also, if you use as Drive 0 and cannot use UEFI then windows cannot partition the drive into multiple drives.

Upon opening the packaging I was dismayed that all there was inside was a plastic bag. Luckily I dug deeper and found the hard drive inside that bag. So, you get a hard drive, a box, some plastic, and a free bag. The hard drive worked just fine, but the free bag just made for some extra purchase. 10 stars.

Used to back up the data on the PC primary diskdrive which is an SSD drive. Works without a fuss. I expect it to last for a long time because it is lightly for periodic back ups only

Quiet. No issues out of the box. Inexpensive mass storage for games. Time will have to tell about longevity/reliability.
