Affordable and reliable HDD. I have a 1 TB replacement in my ps4 pro as well that's been going fine for the past few years. Of course it's not as fast as an SDD but for storing media, it works great.

With today's smaller desktops, there's really only space for an M.2 SSD and one 3.5" hard drive (archive, backup, etc.). This drive offers good capacity. Retail package includes 4 mounting screws.

Im a big fan of WD drives. as we become a more data consumer, larger drives are need to retain the files important to us. The blue drive is not my first and wont be my last. cloned the drive it replaced quickly and easily.

I used this hard drive to upgrade a computer that I use to manage some LARGE email boxes. I am not anywhere close to running out of room. Speed is good for what I am using it for.

Needed a larger hard drive for media, pictures, videos. Found this drive on sale for the same price as another 2TB drive - the choice was obvious to me. has worked great so far.

Western Digital if the king of the heap when it comes to fairly priced add-on media for any computer system. 4TB of storage for under 100 bucks is nothing to scoff at. I am quite pleased with my purchase.

Been using WD drives for over 20 years, I had just few failure on WD. Compairing to other brands like Hi***** or Se***** I won't trust them on clients PC at all. Western Digital the way to go if you have important data.

Super easy to install, providing significant additional storage for my desktop computer at an affordable price. Drive speed is plenty fast for large file movement to and from the drive, and I have always had great luck with WD drives.

For someone like myself, who has a ridiculous amount of data to store, this is perfect. I actually have 3 of them in my PC. I always make sure my solid state drives are nothing but Western Digital

I needed an emergency replacement for another 4 gB drive which developed a hardware problem in its control circuitry. It was an easy installation (screw it into the bay connect 2 wires). Fortunately my backup from earlier that week completely restored my system.

Overall this Kram has performed as it should so far, it has been installed less than a month. However this would not work with the computer I originally intended for it to work with. It being an older computer (Dell Optiplex 990 DT) I3 processor with 8 gigs of RAM, running windows 7 home, I thought would be able to handle 4TB. However due to the chipset of the processor it would not recognize anything over a 2TB hard drive. No matter how I tried to resize the partions it would not read the 4TB. I ended up putting this in my main computer and dumping a portable 4TB hard drive onto it and using that. Just a word to the wise, if it is a older computer you are trying to put this into that you verify the chipset will recognize it.

Purchased as an internal backup drive for desktop. System BIOS had no issues recognizing drive, but had to play with Windows to get it to work properly (what else is new). Ran a check and there were no issues with drive. There are better drives, but was a good deal for the money...
