Great HD for things like data storage and backup. Works as a solid boot drive if you are not going with a SSD. Dependable, long lasting with low failure rate. Especially at this price point.

Great balance of price to performance. For the $65 I spent (on sale) it's great capacity and reliability. While I don't use hdds to boot from, you can't beat the price for raw storage space.

Best value/reliablility per dollar hands down. I always buy WD Black...always for game data drives and I keep reading new reviews about these new wd blue 7200 1tb drives. I rarely stray from proven tech but for $48.00 each delivered I had to try I mean what is the worst that can happen??? lose $100 bucks. I totally redo my whole system 250gb ssd with windows 10 pro installed on it,128 m.2 ssd empty. and 2 of these wd blue 1tb in raid 0 for my steam library and games 1.8tb total. Drives are amazing... numbers and everything everyone else says they are is dead on and I could not be happier. Anyone on the fence on game drives for a raid should not even think twice on buying these drives. Will update down the road if any issues but do not expect any with WD quality.

As with virtually any of their products WD delivers a great HD with amazing storage for a very reasonable price. I use this HD in a high-end custom gaming pc and can honestly say that i have had no issues with it at all.

Purchased the hard drive for my new computer to store pictures and videos. Easy to set up and is quiet. I have owned several wd hard drive and never had one fail, unlike seagate and Toshiba hard drives that have failed in the past

Needed somewhere to put my offline games, had it for over a year and it hasnt failed me yet.

Great hard drive. I use it just for storing media, nothing that requires a lot of speed. I was lucky to get it in the spring of 2025 before hard drive prices drastically increased. I regret not buying several more.

I needed one of these, and it's been a solid bit of storage with no problems. It's nice to have so much space to be able to store my videos and other media without having to delete things.

great so far. i'm currently loading it up with media files. as can be expected, it shows signs of being a bit slower than the solid state drive that i have my OS booting from but it seems like it will be fantastic for the intended use. and since WD has a reputation for being reliable, i trust it will serve its purpose for many years. it had been a long time since i had installed an hdd and so i initially got worried when it didn't automatically show up. a quick online search showed me what i was neglecting... i had to navigate into disk management to format the drive first... oof!

It really provide ours needs of sufficient space and branded WD product has reliable storage solution as hard disk drive. worked smooth with existing system.

Works as intended. Fast installation. Read and write speed is optimal for long term storage of files. Cheap enough that it won't break the bank, and fast enough for every day use!

4TB. This having the most productivity. Is worth the price had the best of satisfaction based of recommendation, storage capability and usage. Great for casually being Hdd operable.

Installed the drive a few weeks ago without any issues. After initial setup with the Windows OS, the computer recognized the drive right away. Had approximately 3.7TB of free space available and the performance of the drive seems to be good. Hope it lasts as long as my other WD drive.

WD blue hard drive is perfect! I was able to install it on my desktop and got working in no time. I was also able to download a couple of games for testing since I personally wanted the extra storage for big open world games and it runs phenomenal! Load times are pretty good and not far off from my SSD only about a couple seconds and it really doesn’t make a huge impact and performance is maintained and everything works as it should. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Tons of space for a reasonable price. My PC was previously all SSD's and I was a bit worried about noise with adding a HDD. So far I haven't noticed any noise at all.

With a gamer in the family, memory is at a premium. This hard drive was exactly what was needed, easy to install, and we are not computer savvy. Works great and makes a big difference in gaming.
