Average performance. Hopefully will have a longer lifespan than previous ones I have purchased. Was on a large sale so good value as long as it lasts.

Got this mainly to use as a media drive. Fast enough for what it's used for.

Bought this for a new build with H370 motherboard and i7-8700. Used an SSD for the boot disk- and this for photo and video library. Works very well- no problems.

Grabbed this drive for more space and it's been great! If you need a budget drive with a lot of space, this one will work!

I had a hard drive go bad and my system would not boot. Used Geek Squad who quickly found the problem and I purchased a replacement drive. Problem solved, doing great.

I've been using this for time machine backups for my Mac. Never had an issue with it, and it's nice to have the security of a large backup drive just in case.

I've had good luck with WD .Can't go wrong with WD.I've had two HD not named WD fail on me recently and I have two WD hard drives that I've had for years and still working.

I have no issues on this hdd, works perfect. Runs at 7200 rpm. Has great data size, no write issues, good read speeds. Has 3 years warranty, for any normal tear and wear, I got this on a great deal from best buy for only $80

Used as secondary storage. So far so good. Low power device. Not SMR. Always had good experience with WD drives.

Plugged it in and works fine. I have been using it to store large files and so far there has been no problem, in terms of speed and response time, when I access those files.

Good drive but is 5400 RPM. Use for backup drive.

So far the best hard drive I have purchased. I use this in my UDM pro and it works great.

Smooth and quiet, right out of the box. Much better than the external 6TB drive I just bought.

If you want to throw it in a long time rig, by all means. It literally shorted on me on the second boot and I had to return it. Definitely not for me, I’d recommend switching to m.2’s or NVMe’s.
