Decent drive. One month and no problems.

WD is supposed to be a good brand for reliability. Some people are saying that there might be two versions of this drive. One with newer technology. I don't know if I got the better one or if I would be able to tell the difference. I just need a bigger drive for back up files.

Solid performer, still relevant in age of the ssd.

Plan to store videos and maybe some lesser often played games on it. Also experimenting w/ using a cache software to see if it improves loading times (just for kicks). Solid quality from WD as per my usual experience.

Good Dependable Drive

No hiccups with this drive. My main pc boots with an M.2 SSD, but I use this 4 tb for file storage. They are not the fastest SATA drive, but with the SSD running the OS, it doesn't need to do anything special but idle till it has a job.

Good value for the price

I have a mix of Red, Black and Blue drives. This is a Blue drive which I understand is mainly for video surveillance cameras but it has worked fine for File backup and storage. I am waiting to determine the long term reliability but so far is working file and the speed seems comparable to the other WD drives I have used.

Reliable and cheap.

Wonderful, hardly a sound, decent speeds when writing to and reading from. I am using this as an all purpose media drive and even when playing open world rpgs loading from this drive the speeds are fine. Reliable and cheap.

It Does Its Job

Only took a few minutes to install and he's been very happy with it. Purchasing online from Best Buy was very easy and convenient. Being a best buy member makes delivery free with a 2 day shipping.
