For this particular hard drive, it difficult to review a hard drive you have only had a couple of months, so far it’s working as expected. For my other WD drives they have held up well; failure rate is very low. Always have multiple backups just in case!

Excellent Drive

This drive was the best for the money they were asking. Throw in immediate, free delivery and it was no contest. Western Digital has been my drive of choice for many years and i felt lucky that I was able to obtain this one from Best Buy.

I am now able to keep my main M.2 SSD clear enough to run smoothly. The price is great as well for what is given. It’s not super fast but fast enough to see speeds over 100mb/s. Definitely a great backup for all your files.

Great value and performance

With this storage of 4TB and the price, it's an item you can't ignore! I had a good experience with Western Digital hard disk for years, and I don't have any issues so far! Buying this is a no brainer for computer users!

Some tips: 1) you will need to format the drive once it is installed 2)you probably need an additional SATA cable (not included) and 3) you may also need brackets for the drive if you are adding it as a 2nd drive like me. Overall, pleased so far with the speed of the drive.
