This drive works great allowing me to put all my documents. videos and picture on with room to spare. I put in a PC that the hard drive had failed and I was able to move everything from all my external drives to the 4 TB drive. I see no difference in performance versus the 3 TB I replaced.

Big Storage drive Great big storage for large videos and pictures. This was purchased to store data that’s not accessed too much. At 4TB, this storage unit will last me a while and can be a good backup drive. Purchasing SSD drives would have been nice, but the price tag would have been to expensive. I’m happy with this purchase.

Much quieter than my previous 7200 RPM hard drive, and since I only use it for storage in combination with an SSD for systems, speed is not a priority for me. It's been working pretty well so far.

Easy install and lots of space for whatever you want to store.

Need more space, could'nt ask for a better drive excellent

I have used many drive brands during 20+ years, but I always return to Western Digital. This 4TB HDD was easy to install, format, and a great price. I have only had it a few weeks so I cannot attest to its long term performance, but I am happy so far.

WD - Desktop Everyday 4TB Internal SATA Hard Drive for Desktops I am very pleased with the ease of installation and operation. I have an older computer and had to get a SATA card for my P.C. After I installed the driver for my new PCI SATA it worked great. Note if you are using Linux and have to do the same make sure you get a Linux compatible card.

Not bad for the price, good for media storage but at the disk speed thats about it

this hard drive is plug and play. complete setup and format was completed in less than 10 minutes. it was really worth the price.

This is a fast large capacity hard drive. It was easy to install.

This works great for me, it was for our outdoor cameras that the base of it did not come with a hard drive. Way to much TB's for what we needed, but the price was fantastic to why not go with the enormous space.

Great drive, works great for storage. Western digital has always been a great brand for hard drives.

Best value for the price and very easy to install and set up

Large amount of storage for a decent price. Obviously it is not used as a boot drive but it has all of my videos for youtube and all my games installed on it.

Had to return it because of the 4TB My security computer's BIOS only recognized 2 TB. Purchased the 2 TB model. The 4 GB was a bargain and most computers can use it. It is replacing a 15-year-old drive of the same model and brand.

Had to buy to have Geek Squad replace our fried hard drive. I didn't even bother paying the few hundred to try to salvage what was on the last hard drive. It wasn't a definite. GET BACKUPS and use extended memory. But it does the job and is great for our fast gaming computer.

Good quality easy to install performs well no problems

Just as advertised and perfect. It came with the needed screws and went into my desktop case perfectly. I did have to buy a SATA cable because I had already used the extra one by adding a Blu-Ray writer but there was plenty of power connections. Computer booted up and the drive appeared just as it should.

Durable and reliable storage. I quit using Seagate. Toshiba is junk. WD drives always have high reliability rates. Great read speeds too. I use this as a secondary drive in my system.
