Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the Blue 4TB PC Internal Hard Drive, highlighting its ample storage space, reliability, and ease of use. Many find the hard drive to be a great value for its price and appreciate the simple installation process and quiet operation. However, some customers have noted that a SATA cable is not included, and the warranty is only two years.

I shoot a lot of video and photos and was needing more space for storing that stuff on my computer. The WD Blue 4tb drive was enough of an upgrade for now. I'm hoping the bigger SSD's will eventually come down in price and then this will become a backup drive.

Just as advertised and perfect. It came with the needed screws and went into my desktop case perfectly. I did have to buy a SATA cable because I had already used the extra one by adding a Blu-Ray writer but there was plenty of power connections. Computer booted up and the drive appeared just as it should.

WD hard drives are the best and this one fits that category as well. I've had now, for well over a year, and thankfully no fails or glitches.

I wouldn't recommend it for running your operating systems but if you need a drive for holding older games and or documents this would be a great option. keep in mind it's a 5400 RPM drive but it doesn't matter for storing documents or older games

It was relatively to install the drive once I had the SATA cable. It would have been nice for the cable to be included. The drive was immediately identified. It formatted immediately and was available for use almost at once. Lots of storage for a very fair price.

WD Blue 4 TB HDD - Perfect for a PC User

The sad fact is that no Hard Drive, no matter how well it is built, is going to last forever. Time and use eventually turns any piece of equipment into little more than a paperweight, and that's what happened to my original Hard Drive that came with my personal computer. So...after six years of use, which led to longer and longer boot-up times for my computer when accessing information on my hard drive, the time came to replace it. The WD Blue 4 TB HDD was a no-brainer. Similar to the one I already had, it offered a simple replacement at a cost that wouldn't break the bank. And, because it was six years newer than my old HDD, it had the benefit of being faster and more efficient than my old one. So far, not a single issue has come up, and the computer functions perfectly.

I mostly use these larger drives in my RAID based NAS systems. They are very reliable but like anything mechanical, can eventually fail. But because of the low price point and RAID technology, swapping in a new drive doesn't cost me any data or much money.
