    Got a WD40EZAZ in the box, which is an SMR drive. This would not be appropriate for use in a NAS (in which case you want a CMR drive), but works fine as a data drive, which is what I'm using it for. Note that is is a 5400 RPM drive, so I wouldn't use this as a boot drive. Not as fast as a 7200 RPM, but 5400 RPM is quieter, runs cooler, and uses less power.
