The drive read/write speed is noticeably faster than the unit it replaced. Windows 10 just set it up as a single drive and loaded up the OS with minimal setup on my part. This thing just works.

It literally shorted on me on the second boot and I had to return it. Definitely not for me, I’d recommend switching to m.2’s or NVMe’s.

Decent Drive

The first one was dead out of the box and locked up my computer and would not format. I returned it and the second one was fine. Decided to but a third one and that one was fine too. I've used a lot of western digital drives so that one was probably just a fluke.

Other drives have crashed and lost very important data but Western Digital besides being a great bargain has excellent quality control.
