Great product. I install it with no problem recognizing the computer.

Great drive, but when shipped the packaging is isn't great...the drive came in with a plastic bag which if it was shipped from a different carrier, the drive definitely stop working, but other then that is great, moves data fast.

Works as expected. Windows 10 had no problem with partitioning and formating. Although I only fire it up about once a week for backups it has presented no issues so far.

Came super fast and it works perfect! There’s nothing wrong with it and the delivery came so fast. The price was worth it and easy installation too

TODANY IS AUGUST 31 2022. I'M REVIEWING THE 4GB BLUE. Shame on Western Digital. I bought this online, picked it up and opened the package in the parking lot. Despite some promising reviews, what was inside was an SMR drive (ENDING IN EZAZ) and not a proper CMR drive as in the past (ENDING IN EZRZ). I took it back and got a credit. I'm an old-timer, having programmed since 1963, and I've bought a LOT of hard drives. Whenever WDC had a product that fit my specs that is what I bought. A couple times I had to buy Toshiba, but never had the nerve to buy a Seagate. I don't mind WD selling a line of rubbish (SMT) but I do mind the DECEPTION of not disclosing on the packaging what model they are selling. Sadly, returning a drive will never have an impact on WD, as the stores will never record your reason for the return. The only hope we have of getting WD to stop this practice is by writing reviews and complaining on social media and Youtube. If you don't know what I'm referring to just watch a Youtube video on the subject.

One BB reviewer said he got the *RZ CMR version. Unfortunately all 4 curbside I picked up today were *AZ. Will be returning.

Worked good at first but at 4 months had error and couldn't access. Ran WD Diagnostics on it passed quick test but with extended test it froze. Was only using it as a second drive in tower for backups. Needless to say lost backups. Should have know better than purchasing other than WD Black.

Late arriving, but understandable.. Dead on Arrival... Only the second time I've had a hard drive show up DOA in like 30 years. Not happy that I have to drive to Best Buy, pay tolls, etc.., but I need a drive ASAP.
