Needed extra space in my Xbox one and this was the solution. It was inexpensive and easy to setup

I was about to run out of space on my 1T for my games, music, etc.... found this 3T. Was just a little more than the 2T. Happy with the purchase.

This is my second My Book external drive and was purchased to replace a Seagate drive that died. My two My Book drives have performed flawlessly. There was always a problem with Windows dropping the connection to my old Seagate external drive and it drove me crazy. No such problem with the WD drives. Everything runs smooth as silk. This is a great little drive.

I bought this drive to increase the storage capacity of my Nintendo Wii U. It has more storage capacity than I really needed, but it offered the best value for the money. Setup was easy; I just plugged it in, and started up the Wii U, which immediately detected and formatted the new drive.

Very easy to install and configure. The method for retrieval of files is consistent with the way that files are stored on the C drive.

This is a fairly hefty external drive, but the price was great and the storage space was great. I needed to replace an old external backup drive that failed and this drive fit the bill. It runs 24/7 and so far I haven't had any issues. Backups run like a charm and the drive is quite fast. Definitely wouldn't want to have to carry it around though.

My old Seagate 1TB hard drive died... therefore I had to replace it. Upon reading reviews and asking advise...I choose this one. I am so happy I did. It's user friendly. Runs beautiful and Great Price! Also it's not huge...easy to take with you if need be. I got it and am enjoying it.

I have an Apple AirPort Extreme and thought I would have to pay for a Apple Time Capsule for my back up. The My Book is a 3 TB HD that works seamlessly through the AirPort Extreme with more storage space for hundreds less. Good move if this is what you're looking to do with your system and will save you some cash as well!

As a writer I was looking for a way to ensure my lovely years of prose would survive a dead hard drive, so sought out this product. As stated, it does exactly what it is supposed to, and so now my writing is safe from sudden death and random acts of God. Buy it, you'll love it. Out.

This was an additional drive that I use to put my movie files on. It has plenty of space for what I need.

Unit prevented the computer from booting up, changing the computer's default boot drive (internal c drive) to a usb port. Plugged it into a power strip with on-off switch, turning it on after the computer has booted up. I have the same problem with a 2 year old 500G maxtor and used the same solution. So far good - lots of space, good price, and fast shipping from Best Buy.

Second time buying this type storage device. Easier this time than last to configure. Price was good.

I purchased this external hard drive due to running out of internal storage on my Xbox One S. I simply plugged it in and the system formatted the drive and got it ready automatically. It's been a couple of months since I purchased this but it's been working great so far. Highly recommend!

I end up buying this on a budget cause all the ones I looked at were more that i wanted to pay. Its bigger then others but i placed it behind my TV so you never notice it. Easy to set up and tons of memory to use. Good buy here.
