Good hard drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Speeds top out at about 110MB/s. The size of the drive was larger and heavier than expected. Is not a deal breaker though. Comes with usb cable and has preloaded software on on the drive, but I did a format and trashed the bloated extras. Heat dispersion is comparable to the rest of similar drives and gets hot as expected. If you are looking for something more professional, consider custom enclosered hhd with heat dispersion as this will become hot during continuos use. The price per TB is hard to beat with this model. Affortable alternative to portable ssd's and transfer speeds are satisfactory. I wish a 8TB capacity drive was available, but this is the best 4TB you can get right now.

Great for Transporting Investigative Casefiles
