Good for external storage

The first one I purchase was before 2012. They work just fine but the documentation is almost non-existant. This can be a real bear when you are trying to move your files(that are store on the WD) from an old apple computer to a new apple computer using an old WD.

It is smaller and trimmer for the larger storage. availability. I transferred all of my information from the older model and it was very fast. Has cloud storage capabilities too. Great hard drive

Big, portable, but slow
