These are my backup drives for all the footage I shoot for my documentaries. Only once did one fail, and it was my fault as I dropped it down a flight of stairs. I keep rubber bumpers on all of them now. But take care of them and they will take care of you. Small, fast enough for 4K video, and affordable.

This is perfect for my digital photos and software. I previously had a 1 TB My Passport, and it filled up and I had no more room. I was able to transfer everything from my 1 TB to the 4TB external hard drive and I now have room to continue my work. Very easy to use.

This hard drive was easy to set up. We use this as a back up for our MacBook. We decided not to get the MacBook specific hard drive since it is easy for us to format. We use it often to save all of our files and pictures. It’s convenient not having to carry an additional AC adapter with it.

This drive holds a lot of Data in a compact size unit. I have several others in the same size and a few My Passport drives in smaller capacities. They have all worked well for me. They are far less bulky than comparable capacity drives. They also run on USB power eliminating the need for external power sources.

Great product! Plug and play with ease and I've had no issues whatsoever. I would recommend this to anyone.

I bought this 4TB Drive to store my pictures on. They were taking up to much room on my computers hard drive. Plugged it in and started moving pictures. Does what it is supposed to. Got a lot of space back on my computer now.

This drive has been great. The 4 TB storage capacity is outstanding. I really like that it does NOT require an external power supply. It simply only has the USB cable to hook up, and that is it. I moved several hundred GB of data to it and have been very pleased with its performance. Great backup device.

The drive is very easy to use and I was able to load my cd's on it and then connect it to my HEOS system.

I purchased the WD Passport 4TB External USB 3.0 portable drive to back up my desktop Mac and it works like a charm. It was easy to install and backs up on demand perfectly. I would recommend this drive for anyone who needs a dependable back-up for their system.

Pluged in 3.0 usb port, data transfer is fast, comes with software to lock data and backup software. I have no use for either. I like the large capacity and speed. Reasonable price and more dependable than Seagate. I would have preferred Toshiba but is cost more than I wanted to pay.

Bought this as a Time Machine drive for my MacBook Pro. Easy to format and loving the amount of storage.

We bought this 4TB drive to store tons of video, and it works amazingly. It’s what plug-n-play is supposed to be—perfectly transparent. Plus it seems to be robust and rugged—despite our best efforts, every now and again it gets dropped or bumped, but it never seems to notice!

I bought this to help store photos from laptop. It’s small size makes it easy to carry esp when traveling. Has great capacity for the size. I have a 1TB drive that’s a size of a novel and this is the size of a cell phone. Good deal and value. No issues with quality or speed.

Guys, this is a Must have item! I am serious. It has a great storage and is very easy to use. It is quiet, the indicator is a small blue light and does not bother you while in use. I like to keep my pictures on it and it is very convenient to bring with me when visiting to another place. Great deal !

This external drive works perfectly for an extra drive for xbox one. All my games run smoothly on it.

4TB of portable storage space in a small case that takes up very little room in my laptop bag and even could fit in a pants pocket. Speed is very good for a 5400RPM drive, and the hardware encryption is a nice handy feature in case you're storing personal files on it and it gets lost/stolen. Great Buy!

I needed a newer/larger external HD to replace a smaller/older MyBook. I have a couple of these in smaller sizes, different colours. When it came time to shop around, it was just a matter of where to get this for the best price! Best Buy and price match win!

I have over 30 WD external drives which I use for data backups and offline storage. I have had a few failures, but of the 8 drives of this model i have not had any problems, and in the few cases where I did have an issue WD replaced them quickly and without problems.

I bought this portable storage to store all of photos and videos and to carry it with me whenever needed to view and reminisce the past. Now that my new hobby is to do a video log of all my travels and love to view it again and again with this portable storage wherever I go .
